Hello, my dear friends! My name is Olga, I work as the director of the International Cooperation and Academic Mobility Center in one of the largest universities of our city. What would I like to say about the program "Global Education"? Let’s say, this is, probably, one of my best choices during a long time. I’m closely connected with international activities and it was necessary for me to close some gaps in knowledge and skills. This program has really helped me because when you work with international activities, it’s absolutely necessary to possess not only general but also specific knowledge and when I was thinking where I should go studying to get the master’s degree, the choice was quite evident. This program is exactly the thing I was looking for. And I made the right choice because at this major Global education is not just mere words. The process of education is being studied from different angles and Minin university invited foreign professors, speakers who gave us lectures and workshops and with whom we could easily talk and ask questions. The program is really target-oriented: each student knows why he is here. The main advantage of the program is that it’s taught in English.

Don’t be afraid that your level of English isn’t high enough or you have forgotten something. This program will help you to overcome all difficulties and you will start thinking in English. For my work such skills are really useful because all the communication with foreign citizens, foreign students, foreign professors is carried out in English. That’s why you need a high level of language proficiency and knowledge of terminology used in the sphere of education. Moreover, my final thesis deals with academic mobility in cosmopolitan times, when we communicate a lot and have friends abroad or a huge number of foreign students come to study in different Russian universities. All this knowledge I received while preparing my thesis and I will definitely use this information in my work. Our foreign affairs center constantly participates in specialized international conferences. We travel a lot both around the CIS countries and around the world, and this gives us the opportunity to share experiences with our colleagues.
